Jennifer Haugen Koski is a writer, editor, and writing instructor. She was a weekly newspaper columnist with the Rochester Post-Bulletin for 16 years, and is the Associate Editor of Rochester Magazine. For 12 years, she's been interviewing strangers and telling their (always surprising) stories in her award-winning magazine column, "Random Rochesterite."
Jennifer received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she created a collection of personal essays titled, The Ones I Left Behind. She also completed critical work at VCFA centered around writing from the "flyover zone" of America's Midwest. She's the recipient of more than 30 writing and editing awards, an instructor of small-group writing classes, and the founder of Interview of a Lifetime. After living in Rochester, Minnesota for 25 years, Jennifer is now based in Minnesota's Northwoods—but enjoys a remote-work lifestyle that allows her to write anywhere from Florida's beaches to Arizona's deserts. She is happiest when traveling, paddling, creating, laughing, listening to live music, and dancing in the aisles. |
